The paper examines the philosophical and ethical implications of Olódùmarè, the supreme deity in Yorùbá mythology, within the hierarchical structure of Yorùbá gods (Orisas). It describes the position and personality of Olódùmarè as the Supreme Being in Yorùbá culture and cosmology, as similar to and obtained in other known world religions. The research proved that, Yorùbá religion has presented Olódùmarè as the creator of the universe, who invariably is ably assisted by the divinities and deified beings; and whose loyalty to him (Olódùmarè) is sacrosanct and secured in an interwoven intermediary worship/veneration arrangement; offered by the members of the society. To the Yorùbá people, this intermediary narrative has not in any way minimized or diminished the supremacy and sovereignty of Olódùmarè over all creations. The Yorùbá have often vigorously attempted to present a philosophical explanation of Olódùmarè and that of His collaborative gods, in a symbolic and biotic relationship, in the day to day running of his invincible, speculative but actual administration. Facts, to this extent have been revealed in this research that, a factual intellectual presentation of the Yorùbá world view has been brought to light, in terms of the place of Olódùmarè and his relationship with other gods and in terms of his supremacy and preeminent position. The work is descriptive and historical.

This research aims to address this gap by investigating the impact of capacity building initiatives on SAP's ability to investigate and prosecute cybercrime. By evaluating the effectiveness of training programs, analyzing the role of specialized units, and understanding recruitment strategies, this research will identify key strengths and weaknesses in SAP's approach to cybercrime. This will inform the development of more effective capacity building initiatives to enhance SAS preparedness and response to cyber threats. This research examined the effectiveness of training programs, the development of specialized cybercrime units, and the recruitment of cybercrime investigators. The aims of the article were to assess the impact of capacity building initiatives on the South African Police Service's (SAPS) ability to investigate and prosecute cybercrime. The objectives were to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs in equipping SAPS officers with the necessary knowledge and skills to investigate cybercrime. Analyze the impact of specialized cybercrime units on the SAPS ability to handle complex cybercrime cases. Investigate the role of recruitment strategies in attracting and retaining qualified cybercrime investigators within SAPS. Identify key challenges and opportunities associated with capacity building initiatives for cybercrime investigation and prosecution. The research questions were to what extent do current SAPS cybercrime training programs equip officers with the necessary knowledge and skills to investigate cybercrime effectively? How do different training delivery methods (traditional vs. online modules, simulations) impact investigators' knowledge retention and competency in digital forensics and cybercrime legislation? Are there opportunities to improve collaboration between training institutions and law enforcement agencies to ensure training programs reflect real-world cybercrime challenges? Cybercrime is a growing threat in South Africa, causing significant financial losses and disrupting critical infrastructure. The South African Police Service (SAPS) faces challenges in investigating and prosecuting these crimes due to a lack of specialized skills and resources. Capacity building initiatives, such as training programs, dedicated cybercrime units, and targeted recruitment, are essential to improve SAPS ability to combat cybercrime. However, the effectiveness of these initiatives in equipping officers with the necessary knowledge, expertise, and manpower remains underexplored.

Dance drama, as one of the oldest art forms, is always appreciated due to its rich aesthetic values. This work is set to analyze and evaluate the aesthetic values associated with dance drama. One of the entertainment genres, dance drama, has provided prerequisite aesthetic pleasures to the audience over time. We Are Rivers is one of the performances that popularizes the creative presence and chronicles issues and activities of Rivers State from the pre-colonial, colonial, and post-colonial eras. The cardinal aim of this paper is to examine the aesthetic values, such as gestures, dance steps, costumes, body movements, and symbols, amongst others, that characterized the dance drama. Dance drama does not only provide entertainment and relaxation to the audience alone; it engages in communicating ideas and emotions and feelings as well as documenting and presenting historical activities. This is quite evident in Julie Okoh’s We Are Rivers. The work employs Rudolf Laban’s dance theory as a roadmap of critical analysis of the topic under examination. The modest recommendation of this paper is that playwrights and institutions of arts and culture should write and present dance drama performances to the audience, as it goes a long way in reviving the dance dramatic genre as one of the vibrant art forms. This unique art form, when sufficiently explored, becomes a vibrant vehicle for entertainment, information, and education for society.
